!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I feel I proofread it too much for a CL ad, but he deserves it.
We got him when our oldest was born because we needed a bigger car. The kids are all worried about what will happen when his wife, Ms. Oddy, finds out what’s going on.
(Yes, all our cars are anthropomorphic at home.)

I don’t like many mini-vans, but I do like Previas.
If I wasn’t broke, unemployed, and in another country, I’d totally buy that off of you.

If I wasn’t married and had to answer to the wife, i’d buy that.
It’s basically a Lotus Exige. Supercharged 4 cylinder Toyota, mid engine, rwd.

If memory serves, the previous iteration, the LE, could be had with a manual transmission, which makes it even more awesome.
It’s too bad they don’t really make stuff like that any more.

My sister-in-law really, really loved her old Previa and misses it. Unfortunately they live in central Missouri.

but the question is, can you get the supercharged engine with a stick? In toyota speak, LE usually is a lower end model.

Ah, I was talking about the predecessor to the Previa, not the trim level. The Toyota LE van, or Le Van in some circles, was, like the Previa, a mid-engined van. I can’t recall if it ever got the supercharger option, but it was available with a manny tranny.
If it did have the supercharger option, that would make it even more boner-fuel-worthy than it already is.

It looks like the manual was dropped for 1993, the same year the S/C was introduced.

Oh yeah! That was a version of the Toyota Moon Van that was the one before the Previa.

I often have people strike up conversations about my “Exige”. Normally I just wait until a pause in their fawning over it to correct them about it actually being a Previa.
To be fair, both of them have been on Top Gear so I can see the confusion happening.

I like’em boxy, like Unimog’s and Volvo radio trucks.

I’ve always wanted to buy a Previa and convert it to a truck.
